My name is Lloyd Godin. My journey into higher education is atypical. Not bad, just different. As I tell my students, "Not everyone's journey is the same." My experiences have ranged from food service to tech support and more.

Five-year career plan · 2026–2031
- 2026–2027: Complete the M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs, finish my Student Accessibility Services internship, and prepare for doctoral study.
- 2027–2031: Pursue fully funded doctoral study and develop teaching and research experience focused on pathways through higher education and barriers to enrollment, persistence, and graduation for Deaf students and other underserved communities. Work toward becoming a professor who advances this research.
Director-level and higher leadership roles remain longer-term possibilities beyond this five-year plan.
